<Command>
<Name>ale clear</Name>
<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
Use this to tell the autoloader system to not bother trying that last part of
the command it was working on before it got an error and suspended. That is
"clear" from the current command. This command will only do something if the
autoloader is indeed suspended.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
Note that this command will also work if the autoloader suspended during a
workstation-directed image. But...if you use this command to resume the
workstation will still think the recorder is suspended because there is no
direct communications path between the monitor task and the workstation.
Therefore the recorder and the workstation will get out of sync and either the
recorder or workstation will have to be reset before things can continue
normally. It is recommended that you always try to "clear" from the workstation
dialog box rather than the diagnostic interface.
